Matt Hudgins released a solo folk album to tour on in 2012, recorded at home on an old Tascam cassette four track with a SM-57 mic. The result was Better Days Are Coming, featuring guest spots by Scott Baxendale on mandolin and Cole Causey on fiddle. A music video for “Wilkes County Jail” was subsequently produced and released.
A single to commemorate 130 years since the massacre at Wounded Knee entitled “New Year’s Day, S.D.” was released on December 29, 2020.
